Been a slow year for news over here as we all look towards the impending release of both Crysis and Unreal Tournament 3, our main candidates for future development. In the meantime you can now enjoy our shiny new website. Although on the whole it doesn't look that much different than the previous one, the inner workings have been brought right up to scratch and we can now provide a number of new features in demand from the community. Most notable is the Infiltration Wiki, a community-driven documentation site providing up-to-date information on Infiltration past and present. As the content is filled out it will replace the aging manual and armoury, but for this we need your help. Everyone is welcome to register on this site, which will allow you to log in to the wiki and start adding and editing pages. Please note that the site is still undergoing development, so some sections may not work as intended if at all. |

Finally our page is back up and running again. Sorry for any inconvenience the maintenance may have caused.
But, back to the news!
During our maintenance phase dslyecxi, the author of the "Tactical Gaming Done Right" article that was featured in the PC Gamer UK Jul/August issue, released a simply fantastic followup article named "The Best of Tactical Gaming: Infiltration" featuring - you guessed it - the current Infiltration; how it looks and feels combined with todays available community mutators.
The article describes a lot of features that were added by community packages in addition to the standard INF 2.9 features that some people may have never noticed or encountered during their first steps thru the world of Infiltration.
It even describes a lot of new features that were recently added.
Another top news item is that the Community Edition of Infiltration is getting ready to be released. Thanks to Crowze, this new installer will combine many of the community additions released throughout the last few years and the official 2.9 bonus pack into one download.
No need to search the forums and community pages to grab mutator after mutator and map after map. This package will have it all - 'soon'.
Now, check out the great article over at dslyecxi.com, spread the word and maybe visit our forums to actually get your hands on some of the cool additions described in the article.
With the upcomming Community Edition this will even get easier.
